Invite: A night in London at Buenos Aires pace. Dress Code: Polo to Party!

As May festivities kick-off and bank holiday fever hits the capital, Polo riders from across the globe are jetting in to London for the third annual HPA Gaucho International Polo Tournament on Tuesday 21 May – a thrilling, fast-paced event. Horses, hooves, hunks and hospitality.

Embrace the Argentine spirit as Gaucho throw one of the most exciting Polo tournaments of the year. Party Buenos Aires style and experience the culture, food, music, dance, wine and sport of Argentina all under one roof. There will be live music from Latin Grammy award nomineesTanghetto and performances from Strictly stars Vincent & Flavia.

Cool off with a Tanqueray gin, sip on a deep, smooth rouge of Malbec at Europe’s biggest Argentinian wine village with over 200 wines and  finish off nicely with the bubbles of Veuve Clicquot.

The headline Polo match, England v Argentina,  will see England Captain Jamie Morrison go mallet-to-mallet with Argentinian Captain and Ralph Lauren model, Nacho Figueras,  in an  adrenalin-filled three-a-side  20 – 22 goal polo.

As the evening reaches a climax, indigO2 plays host to the epic players’ after party. Celebrate with the teams and join them for champagne spraying at the Awards Ceremony and dance with Strictly Come Dancing’s Vincent and Flavia as they perform high-octane Electro Tango on the indigO2 stage.

Flavia Cacace comments, “Fast music, Polo play and tango– this will be a night in London at Buenos Aires pace. The sound of pounding hooves and lively tango will raise The O2 roof – an unmissable event which Vince and I are excited to be part of.”

Martin Williams, MD of Gaucho comments, “Now in its third year HPA Gaucho International Polo continues to build momentum – it has formed part of the summer society calendar along with Ascot and Henley Regatta.

“There is a growing interest in Polo in the UK and we are pleased to offer the experience to all at a reasonable price at such a great venue – The O2. There will be no need for umbrellas should May showers make an appearance.”

Doors open at 5.30pm. Tickets for the main arena are priced from £20 and after-party tickets are priced from £17.50, both available from www.gauchopolo.com.
