This one of those events we’d like to show you more of; but we can’t. It was the AW12 Press Day for fashion label Missguided at The Box Soho, London – where there is a strict policy of no phones, no cameras & no telling. If you’ve been inside you’ll know it’s a box of sensual delights. That’s all we are allowed to say. High up in the VIP suite Missguided showed us the error of our fashion ways by showcasing a stunning in-house designed collection for autumn and winter. Lots of sheer black, gold, studs, sparkle, embellishment, teetering heels and glamour. Peplum jackets, dusky pink Channel-esque gold-threaded suits with ruched shoulders, a sensational midnight blue sequined wrap-over maxi dress, cropped leather studded jackets, sheer plum blouses and studded denim shorts. An upside down cross is a strong motif right in the middle of their Peace and Love collection.
Missguided is all about key catwalk looks and celebrity inspired women’s fashion – everyone can feel like a star in these outfits. Their mantra is ‘we believe fashion is a right not a luxury.’ There is no stopping the rise of Missguided with other fashion retailers on guard for MG’s best season yet.
We’ll release some of the photos soon – but we’ve seem the collection up close and the quality and feel are excellent – and a fantastic value price point.
