Rivington Street Festival in association with Desperados

Sunday 23rd June 2013

12 – 10pm

Venues along and around Rivington Street will open their doors with a day of music and exhibitions, film screenings, stand-up comedy and spoken word.

Rivington Street is the hub of this dynamic and ‘taste making’ area, lined with bars, clubs, cafes, niche fashion boutiques and galleries. Rivington Street Festival will showcase the ‘creative DNA’ of the area.

There is an artisan market with designers and artists from fashion to jewellery to original art prints. Kenza, Tuk Store, Pins and East End Prints, are just some of the local traders selling in the market area. FAHJ (Face Addict Hair Junkie) will be bringing their signature looks and Effy Nails & Co.Nail Bar will be bringing their own  menu of street festival-inspired designs to Shoreditch, for anyone that wants a quick pampering. Red Bull will be bringing photo booth fun to the festival, and making that picture even more memorable, Mad World Fancy Dress City will be bringing a pop up boutique.

Plus lots of venues each housing their own arts and music.

There will be two open air stages and Remedy, Stony Browder Jr.,Reggae Roast, DJ Mag Allstars, Lazy Talk, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra, DJ Switch, Bass 6, DJ Captain Crunch, Boglewaltz, Livin Proof, Nu Northern Soul Records, Vibe Called Quest and the Rock The Belles DJs are just some of the talent taking centre stage on the day.

After 10 pm the action moves indoors.

This is a free event and not one to be missed.

Entrance on the day will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis – so arrive early.
