Côte at Home – it’s back! A Restaurant Dining Experience in the Comfort of your own Home.

Côte at Home, the home delivery of the very best of quality French cuisine has launched its Autumn menu. Started in 2020 during those dark days of Covid the Côte at Home offers a collection of meals from its in-house butchery, fromagerie and wine cellar – which I have to say we are looking forward to ordering. The new boxes are all combinations of the new dishes but as two or three courses (all with dessert, some with starters) – a chef prepared meal at home for under £15 per person.

Steve Allen, Côte’s Executive Chef has curated this menu of hearty Butternut Squash Soup with Harissa, to start, and a 6-hour slow cooked pieces of beef in a rich Bourguignon sauce only 30 minutes in your oven, served with our creamy gratin potato and carrots, as the main course. You can add a Tarte Tatin to the meal, to make it even more special.

Steve Allen has worked at Michelin starred restaurants, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Petrus and he opened Gordon Ramsay at Claridges which won a Michelin star within its first year. During Steve’s time at Claridges, where he went from Junior Sous Chef to Head Chef and then Executive Chef, he worked on all of Gordon Ramsay’s books From “Secret’s” to “World Kitchen”.

Each box is delivered chilled, from Côte’s kitchens to you and can be frozen or stored for up to three days. When ready, simply heat up and enjoy. Côte at Home delivers nationwide, between 7am and 9pm Wednesday to Saturday.

Côte at Home’s Beef Bourguignon 2 course ‘Classics‘ menu is inspired by the French tradition of La Rentrée – that feeling of returning back to normality after a summer of holidays.

The Poulet Grille, which comes with Côte at Home’s garlic bread Fougasse is an old favourite and is another dish coming back on the menu (for two £15.95, or £24.95 as a meal box).

The other new meals include a Seafood Box (£49.95), Smoked Salmon Fishcakes (£12.95 for two or £22.95 for a 3 course meal box), Pork Tomahawk Cassoulet (for two £24.95 or £29.95 as a 2 course meal box), Quiche aux Champignons & Frites for one (£8.95), Quiche Lorraine & Frites for one (£8.95) and Tarte Tatin for two (£8.95).

There are also three new cheese boxes. The French Cheese Box (£24.95) includes Camembert, Comté, Fourme D’Ambert and Morbier with seeded crackers, wholemeal crackers with linseeds, sesame seeds and poppy seeds. With a Confit de Mirabelles au Riesling – Confit of Mirabelle plums with Riesling.
