GuidePal Launches New City Guide App for Android Users

GuidePal – one of the world’s most popular mobile city guides – has released a new multi-destination Android app. The app, which is free to download, gives users easy access to curated guides for 60 cities around the world and 100% offline content.

The new app allows easier access to all of GuidePal’s city guides, and also includes HD resolution, upgraded maps and significant design improvements. In addition, users can download new guides while simultaneously browsing previously saved cities.

The GuidePal team revamps and updates all city guides at least every 12 weeks to ensure that all tips are relevant and current. This is accomplished through a close collaboration between savvy locals and professional writers. “Few things are worse than going somewhere only to find out that the venue was closed months ago. GuidePal solves this problem with continuously updated recommendations in a sleek and easy to use app that can be downloaded for free and accessed offline,” says GuidePal’s CEO, Peter Schierenbeck.

GuidePal provides free city guides via mobile platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone), covering more than 60 major destinations across the globe. With 4 million downloads, GuidePal is constantly expanding its portfolio and has offices in London and Stockholm.

All curated content is created by a unique collaboration between locals and leading travel journalists who hand-pick the best their city has to offer, ensuring that GuidePal users have an authentic and in-the-know experience during their trip.
