Put your ceiling-dancing shoes on and get ready to say hello as July 14th is officially set as the date for Barclaycard presents British Summer Time’s Heart In The Park.
Timing of the acts is here: http://www.bst-hydepark.com/music-1/line-upAEG Live, The Royal Parks, Barclaycard andHeartannounced the legendary Lionel Richie will close the show and superstar Jennifer Lopez will dance again as a headline act, playing on The Great Oak Stage on the 14th July.
The party will kick off on the main stage with British girl group STOOSHE and continues with thereturn of ELIZA DOOLITTLE. Before Jennifer and Lionel take the stage, there will be a performance from outstanding Daft Punk collaborator, NILE RODGERS who will be fronting his seminal dance outfit, CHIC.
Tickets for July 14th go on general sale from 9am on Friday 24th May at www.bst-hydepark.com. Barclaycard Unwind customers will be able to purchase tickets from the Barclaycard Unwind website from 9am Wednesday 22nd May.
But the party doesn’t end there. Non-stop action will be spread over 3 other stages – The Village Hall, The Barclaycard Unwind Theatreand The Bandstand, which has been aptly renamed The Funkstandfor this one day.
The Funkstandwill go wild with INCOGNITO, LIGHT OF THE WORLD and PIGBAG – forerunners of the late seventies /early eighties British jazz/funk movement.
The Village Hallwill feature young, urban artists –CHARLIE BROWN, VINCE KIDD – star of The Voice – and hotly-tipped artists, SMILER and AMPLIFY DOT.
The Barclaycard Unwind Theatre will see the seven-time Grammy Award-winning American jazz singer, AL JARREAU perform some of his greatsas well as Queen of British soul music, BEVERLEY KNIGHT plusDELILAH and ANGEL.
The music begins on Friday 5th July with Bon Jovi headlining, followed by the world’s biggest rock band, The Rolling Stones on Saturday 6th July and Saturday 13th July. Plus Elton John, Ray Davies and Elvis Costello. A full line up for each day, across 4 different stages, brings together world-famous and up and coming artists.
Tickets for July 14th with Lionel Richie and Jennifer Lopez are on general sale from 9am on Friday May 24th at www.bst-hydepark.com. Barclaycard Unwind customers will be able to purchase tickets from the Barclaycard Unwind website –barclaycardunwind.com – from 9am Wednesday 22nd May.

NO alcohol but you may bring your own food as well as soft drinks in plastic or paper containers up to 500ml. There will also be plenty of food stalls and bars at the edges of the arena catering selling soft drinks, beer, cider, wine, champagne (by the glass) and cocktails will be available all day.
