This looks set to clean up – a supperclub in an industrial laundry in London’s East End.
The event runs for eight weeks with chefs taking two consecutive weeks to showcase their distinctive flavours. Each chef will create a three-course menu and guests will also be treated to a cocktail on arrival.
Chefs taking residence include, first up, Rosie Birkett, then Uyen Luu a leader in Vietnamese cooking, Soli and Sanaz Zardosht, sisters known for their Persian- influenced cuisine and John Gregory-Smith who specializes in Turkish food. Many of the chefs have been at Carousel in Marylebone.
Located directly opposite the London Fields Brewery, Wringer + Mangle is a 250-cover bar and restaurant. Reclaimed wood, creeping Russian ivy plants, flickering lights and a fire pit create a charming setting.
