Bombay Sapphire x Thomas Heatherwick Gift Set

To mark the 10-year anniversary of the distillery at Laverstoke Mill, this exclusive gift set features a limited-edition Bombay Sapphire bottle design and a gin & tonic glass designed by Thomas Heatherwick.

Larger bottles produced in a limited edition of 10, will each hold a different botanical found in Bombay Sapphire gin that will be displayed at Bombay Sapphire’s distillery and in selected bars throughout Europe – a fitting showcase of the ten botanicals that impart Bombay Sapphire’s vibrant taste, that shines in classic serves like the gin & tonic.

The collaboration marks ten years since Heatherwick Studio completed the Bombay Sapphire distillery at Laverstoke Mill, which involved renovating the existing buildings and the addition of two glasshouses which harness waste heat from the distillation process and cultivate the plants that give gin its unique flavour.

The inspiration for the new bottle comes from the Victorians who grew in plants in terrariums. Finished in the same blue hue characteristic of Bombay Sapphire bottles, the glasses and larger bottles in Heatherwick’s collection are distinguished by pleated detailing and an hourglass shape.

One of Heatherwick’s key aims was to find a way to incorporate nature into the Bombay Sapphire bottle design.
