Go Fly Fishing Online with Orvis Virtual Mayfly Festival

Saturday 16 May sees the launch the Orvis Virtual Mayfly Festival – the online fly fishing festival will be hosted on the Orvis UK Facebook and Instagram pages and will feature some well-known angling names.

Fly fishing goddess, Marina Gibson will be joined by fly fishing fanatics such as Colin Macleod, Andy Ford of BT Sport’s On the Bank and Beaky Allesch-Taylor who was interviewed on Radio 4 on Woman’s Hour this week after the slight easing of outdoors lockdown restrictions in England and shortly Northern Ireland.

Orvis, fly fishing, hunting and sporting goods retailers, recently commissioned a survey in which over 60% of surveyed people would like to spend more time in the countryside or take up more outdoor activities, as a result of the current lockdown situation in the UK.
