After the international success of blockbuster films Singham, Golmaal 3 and Golmaal 2, comedy maestro Rohit Shetty and Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn team up once again to create mayhem in the romantic comedy film Bol Bachchan, and this time heartthrob Abhishek Bachchan comes along for the ride.
The film releases on 6th July 2012 by Twentieth Century Fox.
Bol Bachchan will be Abhishek Bachchan’s first double character role, and is said to be inspired by the 1979 classic comic movie Golmaal.
Ajay Devgn plays a gangster don with a decidedly bold dress sense, Prithviraj Raghuvanshi, who attempts to speak English with entertaining results. The talented Abhishek Bachchan portrays two contrasting characters, one is a confident, macho, moustached con man and the other an effeminate sidekick, complete with magenta floral shirt and a net vest – one can only imagine.
Bol Bachchan boasts some of Bollywood’s biggest star talents, including a song cameo by film legend Amitabh Bachchan. The lead actors are joined by Bollywood beauties Asin Thottumkal and Prachi Desai and comedy stars Krushna Abhishek, Neeraj Vora and Archana Puran Singh. The film features veteran Asrani of Bollywood Western fame, Sholay.
The soundtrack has songs by singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya and the music powerhouse duo Ajay-Atul.
