Family-run business Farrington Oils has launched a new Mellow Yellow Garlic Mayonnaise, packed with roasted garlic pieces.

As the end of British winter approaches, we are hoping for summer days in readiness to dollop their delicious garlic mayonnaise for dipping, hot dogs and, pray for it, the barbeque season. A perfect accompaniment for a wide range of foods, including meat, fish and shellfish, a dip for crudités and canapés, in sandwiches and hamburgers, or with spicy dishes such as samosas, onion bhajis or kebabs.

Like the mayonnaise, their garlic mayonnaise is gluten and additive free, created from a recipe using free-range eggs, developed in Eli Farrington’s farmhouse kitchen. Eli uses the cold pressed rapeseed oil, produced by her husband Duncan on their Northamptonshire farm. Rapeseed oil contains low levels of saturated fat (half that of olive oil), is one of the richest plant sources of omega 3, contains high balanced levels of omega 3, 6 and 9, as well as being a good source of natural vitamin E.
