Tried and Tested
The speakers are cloth front and the unit has a gloss finish. You can actualy plug in most music players with a mini jack plug or by pairing with bluetooth.
The sound quality is brilliant, the look and feel fantastic. It’s quite a length so you’ll need a long shelf to put it on, but
even though it’s a good size the build quality is great. It doesn’t feel or look cheap.
The Smart link Gear 4 app that you download is straightforward. The app allows you to set your alarms, see the weather and remotely play the music – you don’t have actually put the iPhone in the dock – it’s controlled from wherever you are in the room. If radio is important to you then you’d probably get a DAB – this has a useful FM radio – but as we are hooked to our iPhones and music and can’t bear to leave it sitting on the dock, then this does it for us. It says bedroom but we reckon you could use it anywhere in the house. Coming home has never been so good.
