For any budding bakers and those who love a cocktail, we have some exciting news.
From the 24th February 2022, the UK’s ‘home of baking’, The Big London Bake, is expanding to East London, with the launch of their third baking tent The Big London Bake East, in Haggerston, with a surprise entrance to a cake-themed cocktail bar and garden.
The baking tent will showcase 12 fully-equipped baking stations, including AEG ovens, fridges and stoves, Kenwood mixing appliances, with all ingredients and equipment provided. These 90 minute sessions are something a bit different and great for experiential days out, a chance to get everyone back together again, whatever your age, and most importantly, just have baking fun.
The Big Bakes started as a pop up event in 2017 by founders Adam Chaudhri and Eloise Frank. With a £50,000 loan, they started in a pub garden and now have three permanent sites – Tooting, South London and Birmingham and now East London. During lockdown they did live video tutorials.
