SIMPSONS Fish & Chips of Cheltenham are serving up deep-fried Christmas pudding throughout December.
Deep Fried Festive Figgy Pudding
The dish has four chunks of Christmas pudding, lightly battered and deep-fried until warm and caramelised, then served with a choice of brandy butter or SubZero vanilla ice cream.
The Simpsons Christmas Pudding costs £3.95 eat in or take away dessert or as part of the Festive Menu for £12, which includes cod & chips, the battered pud and a glass of bucks fizz.
In October 2014, they were named one of the top 10 independent fish and chip shops in the country and THE best for The Midlands region. In 2013, Simpsons were named as the Best Fish and Chip Shop in England. They are the only MSC certified chip shop in Gloucestershire committed to using only fish that is sourced responsibly.
