Family Snap – This is Alicia’s beautiful daughter, Georgia, who is the face of the brand.
Never far from the tabloids, we were pleased to hear of a gentler, more natural side of model, mother and cosmetically-enhanced Alicia Douvall. It turns out she’s been on the semi-arid plains of Morocco with her new baby daughter swapping nightclubs for nappies and putting together an organic range of Argan oil moisturisers. Argan oil has been used by Moroccans for centuries for its nutritional and amazing cosmetic benefits – not the stuff you buy in the souk along with clay lipsticks and dried mint teas. This is the real stuff and is one of the rarest oils in the world due to the small, very specific growing areas. Called ‘Liquid Gold’ it’s an incredibly high source of vitamin E, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. The conditioning and anti-ageing properties keep the face, body, hair and even cuticles nourished and revitalised.
Douvall’s products are everything good – 100% argan oil, vegan, organic, petrochemical free, perfume and paraben free. They even share the profits among the women’s cooperative of the Berber tribe.

Tried and Tested
We tried and have to tell you ‘What’s not to like? It’s pure, no odour, goes on and soaks in quite quickly – giving a smooth sheen on the skin. It’s not so oily that you can’t wear it during the day. The face feels smoother and we’d like to think, looking younger. The travel bottle at £12 is perfectly priced to get you into the range. Once you’ve tried it, we reckon you’ll be hooked. Naturally.’
