In the heart of the Côte de Beaune, France, the village of Puligny-Montrachet is preparing to host the second edition of the Montrachet Jazz Festival, on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Conceived as an immersive experience, co-created by the luxury hotel group COMO Hotels and wine and art event agency Hautes Côtes, it celebrates the union of music, wine, and gastronomy, in a setting recognised as one of the world’s greatest wine-growing regions. For one weekend, the village square will be transformed into an open-air stage, at the foot of the Grand Cru vineyards.
Think of this as the world’s coolest open-air jazz club.
Among the highlights, Ben L’Oncle Soul will join the Cotonete Collective for an exclusive collaboration. Between soul, groove, and jazz-funk influences, this artistic encounter promises a unique experience. Cotonete has been described as “wild jazz-funk, with a nod to Brazilian warmth and sea breezes.” Joined by Ben L’Oncle Soul – whose voice evokes the spirit of Otis Redding and the timeless soul of the 1960s – the collaboration promises an electrifying performance filled with groove, spontaneity, and irresistible energy.

The Django Festival Allstars
The Django Festival Allstars will also bring the legacy of Gypsy jazz to life in a contemporary and virtuoso interpretation. Alongside them, the Montrachet Jazz Band, a collective created exclusively for the event, bringing together international jazz figures, led by guitarist and composer Anthony Wilson, known for his work with Diana Krall, will keep the spirit of the festival throughout the weekend.
This specially curated Montrachet Festival Jazz Band – seven internationally renowned artists who have never performed together before is made up of Anthony Wilson and Jesse Harris (guitars); Richard Sears (piano); Matt Penman (bass); Gregory Hutchinson (drums); Simon Moullier (vibes); Gabi Hartmann (vocals); and Robby Marshall (sax) to weave a transcendent tapestry of contemporary jazz, spotlighting each member as both soloist and collective voice.
A selection of the nearby 10 prestigious wine estates will offer tastings of fine white wines from the Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay, and Meursault appellations. Among them are renowned names such as Domaine de Montille, Olivier Leflaive, Lucien Muzard, Jean-Marc Pillot, and Joseph Colin, offering visitors a rare full immersion into the heart of the finest terroirs of the Côte de Beaune.
Gastronomy will complement this tasting experience with the presence of French and international chefs, including the teams from the COMO Hotels group, who will offer original creations, designed to resonate with the wines and the spirit of the festival.
In an exceptional setting, the Montrachet Jazz Festival embodies the essence of the Burgundian l’art de vivre and the timeless link between jazz and wine.
“More than a Jazz Festival, Montrachet Jazz is a sensory vignette: exceptional wines, fearless cuisine, and daring musical artistry combine to create evenings bathed in golden light, the clink of glasses, and the irresistible sway of live, boundary‐pushing jazz” – artistic director Lilly Schwartz
Montrachet Jazz will take place on the Place du Pasquier de la Fontaine in Puligny-Montrachet.
Local and international food stalls, as well as a bar, will be available on site.
