‘The Cwtch’ eco pod provides all that is needed for a great glamping holiday. Approached via a private track, tucked away in 2 acres of private woodland, close to Westfield Pill Nature Reserve. The Cwtch is comfy and cosy, whilst the balcony terrace provides a restful place to sit outdoors and listen to the sound of woodland birdsong. On clear evenings the fire pit creates warmth and atmosphere for a perfect night of stargazing. A welcome pack is included with lovely home-made cakes baked by the designer, builder and owner, Beth. Also included are locally sourced milk, bread, eggs, tea and coffee and a bottle of wine.
‘Cwtch’ is a Welsh term of endearment meaning to embrace or cuddle and this wooden pod certainly provides an ideal snug for a glamping break for two or an eco-adventure for a family of four. The Cwtch is off grid and thus atmospheric evenings are created with LED lights and candles.
Cycling locally is wonderful with the Brunel cycle track nearby, taking you to popular coastal villages. With a local bakery and Mr Claws, the fish monger, for locally caught fresh fish, dressed crabs, lobsters and mackerel pate in nearby Johnston you will need some panniers on your bike. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path has Blue Flag beaches and achieved second place in the National Geographic’s ‘World’s Best Coastlines.‘
Sleeps 4 per pod. Two pods available on site. Additional camping space nearby for extra friends (£15) One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Prices: £192 – £257 for short breaks or £295 – £395 per week from Quality Unearthed
