In keeping with the tradition of providing sumptuous fresh food straight from the store’s Lower Ground Floor Food Hall, Fortnum & Mason launches a new selection of perfect picnics. Whether you are looking for a wonderful way to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee or plan to spend lazy days outdoors in the company of family and friends, nothing is quite so wonderful as a Fortnum’s picnic.
The new range includes:
Fortnum’s Jubilee Picnic (£40): The Fortnum’s Jubilee Picnic contains smoked salmon sandwiches, coronation chicken salad and strawberry Eton mess and comes in a small cool bag (serves 2).
The Outdoor Feast (£85): The outdoor feast contains fresh mixed olives, hand-carved Wiltshire ham, Moroccan chicken pie, poached salmon, fresh vegetable crudités, a crusty fresh baguette, fresh strawberries with fresh mint leaves and a bottle of Muscadet sur Lie (serves 2).
Three Course Formal Picnic (£100): The 3-course Formal Picnic contains salad of crab and avocado, pesto chicken supreme, potato salad, Fortnum’s green salad, raspberry trifle and Touraine Sauvignon Blanc (serves 2).
Wicker Picnic (Pictured £200): The Wicker Picnic contains beef carpaccio with horseradish dressing, dressed half lobster, freshly prepared with English garden salad of peas and beans with brown bread rolls, a wedge of Cropwell Bishop organic Stilton, Fortnum’s walnut wafers, a red fruit tart, Fortnum & Mason Champagne chocolate truffles, English rosé and English sparkling brut wine. This comes in the Huntsman wicker basket with the necessary accessories (serves 2).
We are big fans of their Diamond Jubilee Teas Salon so these hampers should be good.
