Built in 1888, The Ampersand Hotel, independent hotel and part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World™, is one of London’s original Victorian boutique hotels and opens its doors at the end of August 2012.

The Stunning Contemporary Chandelier that spans the whole height of the five storey staircase. You will not want to take the lift when you see this beautiful light.

These 5 themes are intricately incorporated throughout the hotel, from the 20-metre staircase installation accented with goose feather wing lights to the bespoke upholstery featuring flowers and ferns. The carpets throughout the hotel are deep pile and beautifully designed. Loos on the lower ground floor each have a fragrance theme.

Set on the ground floor of the hotel, overlooking the bustling Harrington Road – this beautiful patisserie lounge is where both hotel guests and local residents and shoppers can enjoy coffee complimented by sweet & savoury pastries, afternoon tea, gorgeous chocolate-dipped Florentines or sip a glass of Ruinart Champagne before dinner.
