Cheeta, star of numerous films and TV shows, is alive and well in Palm Springs. “The obituaries of the ‘other’ chimp feature my face but it’s not me – as these photos show. My local newspaper The Desert Sun got it right. When I read the New York Times, I nearly choked on my iced tea and tortilla chips.”
