‘Why don’t you get out of that wet coat and into a dry Ciroc Vodka Martini?’

CÎROC Ultra Premium Vodka Announce Official Spirit Sponsorship of the 56th BFI London Film Festival in Partnership with American Express.

The Festival showcases the very best of contemporary world cinema and last year hosted 207 feature films including 13 world premieres. The Festival in 2011 drew the highest ever audience attendance of over 133,000 filmgoers, with ‘A List’ stars including George Clooney, Madonna, Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan gracing the red carpet.

Bottles of Ciroc wrapped in specially designed artwork from the films will be signed by leading talent and auctioned for charity. Dame Helen Mirren and producer Kris Thykier got things underway by signing Ciroc bottles wrapped in the film’s artwork. Further bottles were signed by the stars of Pathè films’ “The Iron Lady”, creating collectable and highly covetable art pieces.

CÎROC Ultra Premium Vodka is made from two great French grapes and distilled five times to provide its smooth, sensual citrus taste. The name “Cîroc” is a contraction of two French words: Cime, meaning peak or summit-top and Roche, meaning rock.

Clare Stewart, Head of Exhibitions BFI cleverly said: “I imagine a popular catch-phrase at this year’s Festival will be a slight variation on a line from a Billy Wilder classic, ‘Why don’t you get out of that wet coat and into a dry Ciroc Vodka Martini?’ As our Official Spirit Partner, they will help us.”

We say: ‘Get your coat, you’ve pulled. Now where did we put that olive?’
