Banrock Station Wines pledge £15,000 to Butterfly Conservation
We are raising our glasses to nature this summer, as Australian fine wine makers Banrock Station helps create safe havens for the rare Large Blue Butterfly; donating £15,000 to conservation to increase its population by 20 per cent, over the next five years. Across Britain bees, butterflies and wild flowers have been in decline but they play an important role in pollinating our fruits and veg so it’s vital we protect them.
As part of its commitment to the environment, sales from each bottle of Chardonnay Viognier and Cabernet Sauvignon–Shiraz will help contribute towards its pledge to save this British beauty.
Enjoy the beauty of the British countryside, as you savour the crisp, citrus and peach flavours of Chardonnay Viognier and the soft, medium to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz flavours of mulberry, dark cherry and plum fruit. These wines make a refreshing accompaniment to summer evenings spent under an umbrella watching nature’s beauties flutter over gardens.
Since 1994 Banrock Station has contributed £2.5m to 98 environmental projects in 13 different countries. Pick up the butterfly special pack with the butterfly picture on the neck of the bottle in Sainsbury’s for RRP £10.99

We really enjoyed the red, definitely going in our top ten for Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz: the flavour on the tongue is candied fruits, lightly syrupy and sophisticated fruity. We are raising our glass to butterfly conservation.
