Ted Baker S/S 2012 at London Fashion Week

Great buzz and lots of conversation at the Handpicked Media Fashion Bloggers’ Hub at One Aldwych for the Ted Baker Spring / Summer Collection 2012 at London Fashion Week.

Ted Baker sees himself as The Great Exhibitionist and founder of the School of Display and Extravagant Behaviour.  We believe him after this show by Ted Baker PR team who had gathered key pieces from the collection, literally, in showcases, packed for perfect travel moments. Motifs in the menswear are flocks of migrating birds, and collectible lapel badges starting with a hot air balloon and, for the first time, white chinos. For the women, flowers, bugs, embellishment and bags of colour.

What’s in season?

Fuchsia, tangerine, white, mint and sky blue.

Favourite items?

For the boys… these travel cartoony but classy shorts (POMGRAN – Printed swim short – £60)

Accessories came as dark orange quilted clutch bags and magenta rimmed sunglasses.

There were pastures of fresh flowers that scented the suite from Scarlet & Violet, a bespoke florist in London, regularly featured in Vogue and Elle Decoration.

Ted Baker Summer Suitcase

Ted Baker Sundae Suitcase 🙂

A collection of scents and sweets. We notice that Ted’s mouth-watering Sweet Shoppe popped up in Heathrow Terminal 5  in February and the pop-up will be open until April.

The silly season was upon us so we played around a little with the immaculate presentation and got our saucy seaside postcard look. We hope we get through customs with this Ted Baker sundae in our case.
