Plug In Your Volvo V60 Hybrid at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

To celebrate the launch of a world first, Volvo V60 Plug- In Hybrid and its sustainable luxury credentials hosted a panel discussion at Goodwood Festival of Speed, the largest motoring garden party in the world, bringing together a heady mix of cars, stars and motorsport ‘royalty’.

Jo Wood: Founder of award-winning beauty range, Jo Wood  Organics and owner of the sustainable pop-up restaurant ‘Mrs Paisley’s Lashings’.  Jo is a keen supporter of sustainable luxury and has sat on the judging panel for the Observer Ethical Awards and is an ambassador for London College of Fashion’s ‘Centre for Sustainable Fashion’

Robert Llewellyn: Renowned  actor, presenter and writer who is known for his interest in sustainable products.  Robert is best known for his role as Mechanoid Kryten in the hit sitcom Red Dwarf.

Andrew Tuck:  Founding Editor of Monocle, a luxury global affairs magazine which covers the world of fashion, design and worldwide news.

Carl Honoré: An award-winning journalist and author  who wrote the internationally best-selling book ‘In Praise of Slowness: How A Worldwide Movement Is Challenging the Cult of Speed’ about the Slow Movement.

Leah Wood: Actress and Model who has backed the climate change campaign Global Cool is hosting a drinks reception at the event.

V60 Plug In Hybrid

During 2012, Volvo, will launch a world’s first: a plug-in hybrid the V60 that you charge in an ordinary electric socket to drive up to 50 km on pure electricity. You can then switch to drive fuel-efficiently on diesel, with the hybrid technology to support efficiency.

Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Festival of Speed, organised by The Earl of March, is a unique summer weekend and the largest car culture event in the world. Held in the immaculate grounds of Goodwood House, this annual hill-climb event is a true celebration of motor sport and all the glamour that comes with it.
