We enjoyed meeting the ethereal Mollie Douthit, with her wonderful fine art memory pieces.
“Bits” – a lime wedge triggers a memory of her grandmother who has a G.I. bride from London that went to live in Dakota USA.
“Show me that trick again” – is what her grandfather used to say when they had an accident and had to find a plaster.
What’s an exhibition without a cocktail?
Absolut excelled themselves with this selection:
Absolut has been active in the art world since 1986, when it invited Andy Warhol to create the first in a series of iconic advertisements inspired by the Absolut bottle. Since then, Absolut has collaborated with more than 1000 artists on over 800 commissioned projects including collaborations with Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Louise Bourgeois, Annie Liebovitz – and more recently Spike Jonze, Swedish House Mafia and Icona Pop.
Here’s to the New Sensations.
