Time for Your Eleven Thirty Hunk? C4 and Diet Coke think so…

Channel 4 is about to experience a hot man takeover as TV personalities Ollie Proudlock, Rick Edwards and George Lamb, ahem, muscle in to celebrate Diet Coke’s 30th birthday. This will see the three hotties mirroring the famous Diet Coke ‘hunk’ ad across Channel 4 for the upcoming weekend.

The bespoke 20-second teaser will see the three TV personalities joined by eight handsome male models as they wish Diet Coke a ‘happy birthday’. The celebrities and models are wearing the classic ‘hunk’ attire of blue jeans and a white top.

This forms the latest part of Diet Coke’s Sparkling Together for 30 Years’ campaign. And as if that wasn’t enough excitement, the new Diet Coke ‘Gardener’ ad staring Andrew Cooper will be making its on air debut on Channel 4, Friday 1st March at 8.50pm.

Diet Coke launched its new ‘hunk’ TV ad campaign via Facebook on Monday 28th January. The 60-second ad is an updated take on the Diet Coke hunk ad campaign of the nineties and features British model Andrew Cooper taking a break from mowing the lawn and exposing his chiselled chest having sprayed Diet Coke over his t-shirt.

Set to the Etta James track, ‘I Just Want To Make Love To You’, used in all the Diet Coke break adverts so far, the steamy new skit was shot on location in South Africa.

No wonder it’s so hard to get an appointment here…
